Her friends and her, were deeply concerned about the state of the current political and economic climate, which is duplicating the pre-WWII state. As a result this European coalition of friends is trying to wave the red flag. to awaken the global consciousness.
They have built the D & R Gallery to showcase the pictures and poems (translated in multiple languages) from real people who wrote about what it was like during that timeframe.
If you don't learn from history, you are destined to repeat it.
They also are planning a conference and discussion as to how to perceive, and possibly find some work-a-rounds, that might prevent the repeating of history.
What was very humbling for me, is that I was asked to be the chairman of the conference, based on my fairness of mind and facilitation abilities in heated discussions observed at the Roadside Philosophers. The invitation below is being sent out to a number of different groups. I do not know how many will be attending, but it does not matter to me. The goal is a good one, the believers sincere.

D&D gallery consist of 7 floors. 5 containing photographs depicting WW2 - prior, during and after the war.One floor is dedicated to poems written by several nationalities relating to this War. ----

Yet this is in a cartoon world. And a cartoon world has no value, Right? It is just a game? What are you doing pretending?
So often this is what I am hit with when I try to describe to those that have never entered the environment. Today's humanity, no longer sees anything that does now come with a $ in front, or charts to quantify.
This is what is missing in the real life of our modern day. A disconnect with the values that make us human... we are missing the PASSION of a causes and valuing beliefs that are not quantifiable.
I am currently reading and highly recommend this book.
